Truck Deposit Box

Through February and March 2009, The Red Room Company collected toy trucks from the public via mail and a talking drop-box in the Sydney Olympic Park Visitor Centre. These trucks are now featured in the poem display at
Car Park 3
Sydney Olympic Park
until June 30.

The Truck Deposit Box is also an audio installation where you can listen to the Dust poets read their poems, speak about their experiences on the road, and John Laws’ advertisements for the project. On March 21, families flocked to the Park for the launch of Dust Poems and a tour of the sites featuring toy trucks and the Dust poems.
